Mr Gurry was Managing Director of HBF from 1995 to 2007 and prior to that he was President Asia Pacific of the DMR Group Ltd, an international consulting firm. From 1996 to 1999 he was Vice President of the Asian Association of Management Organisations, from 1997 to 1999 National President of the Australian Institute of Management and from 1999 to 2008 Chairman of United Way WA Inc. Mr Gurry was a member of Ajilon Australia’s Advisory Group Board and since 1999 he has been a Trustee and Vice Patron of the Activ Foundation, Chairman of Reignite Pty Ltd and a Commissioner of the Forrest Products Commission and has served on numerous Boards including the Australian Health Insurance Association, The Australian Information Industry Association, The West Australian Ballet and Integrated Group Ltd. Mr Gurry is also chair of St Marys Cathederal Precint Development Committee and a member of the Perth Archdiocesian Finance Advisory Committee.
